BED - The best Live band you’ve never heard of?
Your new obsession
On Sunday night, we had the rare pleasure of discovering the best live band we’d never heard of. BED, a four-piece outfit best described as rave rock, delivered an electrifying set that fused the relentless pulse of a Berlin nightclub with the raw, commanding energy of seasoned rock veterans.
The magic of their performance lies in the moments where roaring vocals crash into pounding drums and impossibly tight techno rhythms. The result? A crowd fully immersed — jumping, shouting, and completely under BED’s spell.
Visually, the show was just as gripping. Throbbing strobe lights, Matrix-style outfits, and a sense of cinematic intensity created an atmosphere somewhere between underground warehouse rave and dystopian sci-fi opera. It’s a level of polish and presence that suggests a band deep into their career —yet BED only formed in 2022.
This UK tour marks their first time on British soil, and despite a relatively lean discography — just four singles and a live album currently streaming — the band is recording at Abbey Road Studios, signalling big things to come.
After the show, we caught up with BED, who proved to be refreshingly down-to-earth and brimming with excitement about what’s to come. If Sunday’s performance is any indication, this is a band poised for something huge.
We’ll be keeping a close eye — and both ears — on whatever they do next.
