New Music Magazine’s Rolling Top Album List
Last updated: May 07, 2026
Welcome to the NMM Rolling 50, an evolving index of the best music released in the last 365 days. By aggregating our expert NMM Grade with the public Hype score, we provide a transparent look at the albums defining the landscape. When a record hits its one-year anniversary, it retires from the chart, making room for the next essential listen.
Welcome to the April reshuffle! We have a new #2 the Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize collaboration nearly takes the top spot! This unfortunately has sent the rest rest of the albums reeling downwards. Other new additions are Thundercat at #12, Enter Shikari and the Foo Fighters into #22 and #23, Noah Kahan hitting the chart mainly due to the immense popularity of The Great Divide, finally Holly Humberstone and Skindred just squeeze into the bottom of the chart.
This means we have legends like King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Good Charlotte, Sabrina Carpenter & Bieber pushed off the chart.
Retirees: No albums aged out this month.
