SLAM DUNK
23-24th May
The UK’s premiere Pop Punk festival Slam Dunk dropped its first wave of lineup last week with veterans like Good Charlotte and Sublime leading the bill. It’s a major coup, as Good Charlotte have confirmed this will be their only European performance next summer, while Sublime are making their first-ever UK appearance. Further down the line-up is packed with punk favourites including Cancer Bats and masked newcomers, President.
BST HYDE PARK
10th July
Get your bald caps ready and start practising your Spanish, because MR Worldwide is coming to BST Hyde Park and the newly announced Roundhay Festival in Leeds next summer. Alongside Pitbull, Kesha has been announced as the sub-headliner for both dates delivering the perfect mix of Pop 2012 throwbacks.
ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL
18-21st June
The Cure are everywhere this summer. The band have announced their first UK show of the year at Isle of Wight Festival, alongside big names like Lewis Capaldi and Calvin Harris. Supporting them is rising star Teddy Swims, while highlights further down the bill include the Sex Pistols, Wet Leg and Luvcat. It’s shaping up to be a standout year for the Isle.
PRIMAVERA SOUND

The biggest difficulty with Primavera Sound next year will be finding time in your days to see all the quality acts spread even into the tiny text of next years announcement. The XX continue their comeback with their first European date, while Doja Cat headlines as the big pop draw. Gorillaz and The Cure add veteran star power, and the smaller print is full of gems including Kneecap, Wet Leg, Geese and even a surprise mention of actress and model Cara Delevingne. There’s truly something for everyone.
