Rating all the sets we have seen
Day 5 at Lido Festival brought a different kind of energy — mellow Sunday vibes, a more laid-back crowd, and a fittingly softer lineup. It was a day made for sinking into the grass, letting the music wash over you and enjoying a drink in the sun. Still, the live moments hit just as powerful.
Here are some of the moments we can’t stop thinking about!

Moody, genre-blurring set with nods to The Cure and LCD Soundsystem. They gave it their all, but a tough slot and sparse crowd kept things from fully landing.

Effortlessly relatable with a gorgeous voice and warm stage presence. She laughed at her own wardrobe choice (fur coat with some underboob action on the hottest day of the year) making for a funny, self-aware moment, though the set itself never quite found its spark.

5.5/10
A veteran performer with a few standout tracks, but the frequent wardrobe changes stalled the momentum — minute-long silences between songs broke the otherwise steady festival groove and left the crowd hanging.

An exciting up-and-comer with a touch of Lana Del Rey in her presence and sound. Despite the early slot, she got the crowd moving and delivered with confidence. There’s something quietly magnetic about her — “Velvet & Denim” proves she’s only just getting started.

Neil Frances
9/10
The first act to truly get the crowd moving, their set flipped the energy and kickstarted the party just when it was needed. Seamlessly blending live performance with a DJ set, they brought tight rhythms, big hooks, and serious presence. A standout highlight of the day.

Best singalong set of the day and easily the happiest we saw any artist to be performing. He kept the momentum going after Neil Frances, with a warm, emotionally charged set that stood out. A powerful presence and one of the most uplifting moments of the (scorchingly hot) day — fittingly, in the tent.

An authentic and affecting performance — their first live set in six months. Hannah Reid forgetting some lyrics and restarting a song became an endearing moment, adding a rare vulnerability that felt refreshingly poetic in an age of polished pop backing tracks. While the set leaned into emotional resonance, it could have used a bit more of the party energy found in the final track, “Lose Your Head”.
