Rating all the sets we have seen
Outbreak London at LIDO Festival delivered a solid mix of hardcore, alt-pop, and rap packed with moments that reminded us why this scene still hits hard. The crowd turned up early and stayed rowdy, throwing themselves into every pit, stage dive, and scream-along. From hardcore heavyweights to glitchy pop curveballs and standout rap sets, the lineup covered serious ground.
While a few set clashes and busy tents meant we couldn’t see everything, the atmosphere stayed strong and the range of performances made for a standout day. Here’s how each set stacked up.

Fun crowd, glitchy chaos, and a surprise appearance from Danny Brown — though it felt like organisers seriously underestimated the hype, with fans stuck queuing outside the only gated stage of the festival.

Brought it like it was 2014 all over again — full-throttle nostalgia, nonstop crowd surfing, and Turnstile’s drummer (Daniel Fang) enjoying it from the side stage.

Crowd pleaser from the jump — rap gems, big energy, and a packed crowd that clearly came just to see him.

Great to hear the Worship and Tribute classics live — tight set, crowd was into it, and they still sound strong. Not the most electric performance of the day, but a fitting dose of early 2000s post-hardcore energy done right.

Top tier performer and a solid set — light-hearted and a nice break in the day, but felt slightly out of step with the rest of the lineup. The main stage was surprisingly empty, considering his name.

Meanwhile, the Club just couldn’t contain the demand, with hundreds of people trying to get in to watch Sunny Day Real Estate but left stuck outside due to capacity issues.

Had the crowd going absolutely wild — nonstop crowd surfing and mosh pits breaking out all set. New single Suffocate was particularly powerful, with Bryan Garris’ vocal screams right on point.

From opener ‘Never Enough’ to closer ‘Birds’, they never let up. As hardcore as ever — the crowd was sweating so much the light rain barely registered. Humble, locked in, and clearly happy to be there. Easily one of the best rock acts on the planet right now!
