Palaye Royale have built their reputation on raucous live shows, where stage dives, crowd interaction and the occasional boat ride are all part of the experience. During their press conference at Universal Music Group in London today, the Las Vegas rockers announced their sixth studio album, Amsterdamage, alongside a major global tour set to take in the UK, Europe and North America in 2027.
Set for release on 22nd January via Sumerian Records, Amsterdamage is available to pre-order now. The band have also shared the first taste of the record with new single ‘Lost In Translation’, an upbeat track that draws inspiration from the mid-2000s British rock bands the brothers grew up listening to.
Written throughout 2025 while the band were touring, the album took shape across several locations, from the San Diego coastline to the Netherlands, before being completed at Chris Greatti's studio in Los Angeles.
The record also carries a deeply personal significance for brothers Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig and Emerson Barrett. Following the death of their mother, Stephanie Rachel, from cancer in 2024, the creative process became an important part of bringing the family back together.
Speaking about the album, Emerson explained: "After losing our mother, this is our phoenix rising from the ashes. Each one of us took our own paths in dealing with death, and rejoined not only as individuals, but with our partners, and as brothers. This creative bond was the thing that kept us together."
The accompanying Amsterdamage Tour will begin in March 2027, with a run of European dates including Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin, before the band headline London's OVO Arena Wembley on 3rd April. The tour will then head across North America from 18th April, eventually returning to Los Angeles for a series of shows at some of the city's most iconic venues.
Fans who pre-order the album through the Sumerian Records store by 5pm on Monday 5th October will receive access to the ticket presale, which begins on Tuesday 6th October. General sale begins at 10am local time on Friday 9th October.
Amsterdamage arrives as Palaye Royale continue the next chapter of their career following their signing to UK-based management company Expectation Management. With a new record, a fresh single and an extensive tour on the horizon, 2027 looks set to be another busy year for the brothers.
