Easy Life are back.

Here at NMM, we’re still not over the fact they didn’t rebrand as Breazy Life — but post-lawsuit and living the Hard Life, Murray and the boys return with new single “OGRE”, their second release under the new moniker.

The track arrives with news of upcoming album “onion”, out this July. If OGRE is anything to go by, the record promises to be thick with emotion and layered with meaning — because, as we all know, ogres are like onions. And clearly, so is Easy Life 2.0.

The single is a solid return to form. While it doesn’t quite ascend to the same highs the band was reaching before being shot down by EasyJet in that infamous lawsuit, there’s plenty to peel back. See also: last month’s punchy slice of melancholy, “othello.”
